The Game Of Bridge
Bridge is a card game which is slightly more complex than the average card game,
but, not unlike golf once the basics have been mastered can be enjoyed at any level of skill.
It is a game for any person of any age which stimulates the brain, adds social opportunities and can be both challenging and thoroughly enjoyable. It opens new social activities and even holidays wrapped around the game
A bit about the Club:
- We play at the Grimsby Golf Club on Tuesday nights., starting 6.45.
- We are open to anyone of any level to play (Bridge players know this involves 2 people attending because you always need a ‘partner for bridge’)
- It’s a very friendly and not excessively competitive bridge club – the social side comes before the need to win but obviously every couple try to win.
- There is an annual membership fee (Jan-Dec) which is currently £20.00 and table money (i.e. each time you go) of £4.00 per person per evening.
- Non-Members are welcome at £5.00 per person per evening.
